Terrific kayaking, rafting, and swimming, biking trails and rock climbing just name a few. Or just sit back in your own oasis and enjoy the serene views at this River Front rental. In the winter there are just as many fun thrills with down hill skiing, cross country skiing, snow boarding, snowmobiling, and sledding up at Stevens Pass Ski Resort which is about 20 miles away.
Immerse yourself into this newly remodeled and decorated studio that accommodates one or two comfortably. Let the soothing sounds of nature allow you to soar into blissful pleasures. Enjoy the view from all the windows that face out on the bend of the river. Sit and relax in the comfy furniture, before a rustic rock framed propane fireplace and watch tv or read a great book. If you wish to get a bite to eat: Gold Bar has a large grocery store as well as the Prospector's Ale House Restaurant, La Hacienda, Mt View Diner, and the Gold Bar Restaurant. Sultan has the Sultan Bakery and Sahara Pizza.
If you wish to wake up and go on a hike, the studio does have a book on many hikes and activities around with more information. But a few great hikes are: Wallace Falls State Park, Lake Serene Trailhead, Bridal Veil Falls, Deception Falls, Barclay Lake, Heybrook, and the Iron Goat Trailhead. You will need a trailpass to hike these trails and more. You can get one at the grocery in Gold bar or at the Index General Store.
You can raft and kayak with Alpineadventures.com. They are located in Gold Bar, WA and can outfit you and take you on a grand tour of our majestic rivers.
Or Rock Climb on the Index Town Wall. South Fork is located just minutes away from the town of Index and all it has to offer.
